Catching Up...
I've been so completely busy that I've scarcely had time for myself...
Now that I've got a moment, here's a briefing as to all the goings-ons...
At the begining of June I took a weekend trip with the fam to attend my cousin's graduation from Ilon College in N.C... No expense was spared, including (but certainly not limited to) round trip flights, a stretch hummer limo, a private party with white-gloved servants and a band at a rediculously expansive and expensive hotel, a private hotel room for each family member, and lots of family and friends... It was a kick ass time, and the weather was to die for! Sooo much fun...
In my spare time I've been out-doors as much as possible - hiking with friends and a lovely guy I've been seeing... I go someplace different each time, but stick to my favorite places to be around - the woods, waterfalls, and lakes - where I have plenty of opportunities to chase butterflies, fireflies, and snakes...
Aside from the trip to N.C., I've been trying to spend a lot of time with family as well... Some relatives have arrived at their summer home, and I plan to visit them as much as possible. They own a polo team, and I've decided I'd like to learn to play.
Yup. Another Qortni fun fact.
I'm already an advanced English Hunt Seat rider - and I figured polo would be a fun new challenge...
I plan to go on a Fox Hunt as well...
Oh, also, somewhere in there I had to go on a business trip to Albany for training regarding work... It was fun, actually. The instructer is a really cool guy, and I got to bond a little with co-workers, and make some new friends... I was up there for 5 days, and by the end I just had to sort of remove myself from everyone. I'm so used to living alone that 5 days around about 10 people started to frustrate me a bit... So I had to have a little Cave Time... But no biggie...
(More later...)
